OTHERWISE NO CHIPS NO CRACKS VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE SOMETHING YOU DO NOT SEE EVERYDAY. HAS A REALLY PRETTY LIGHT PURPLE LAVENDER WITH A BRIGHT VIVID VIOLET PURPLE BLENDED IN TO THE BASE GIVING IT A REALLY CRAZY AND BEAUTIFUL LOOK!! ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ART GLASS PIECES I HAVE LAID MY EYES ON JUST THE COLORS AND THE CONTOURS ARE EXQUISITE!!
This is a vintage Italian Murano art glass bowl or ashtray, likely from the 1960s or 1970s.
It is a mouth-blown piece featuring the Sommerso technique, which layers different colors of glass.
The colors transition from pink/lavender on top to a blue pedestal base.
The design is often attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso d'Arte or Josef Hospodka for Chribska Glass Union.
The bowl has a distinctive, organic, or "clover leaf" shape with an asymmetrical, flared rim.
