The new album by the Indonesian surf rock band, released at the end of 2024, will be released physically by Jakarta's noteworthy label Lamunai Records. This is a hotly anticipated work that also features Ricky Firgana (White Shoes & the Couples Company)! This album showcases a variety of collaborations, including 'Jimat' featuring Duru Semban, a big star not only in the Sundanese music scene but also nationwide, and a unique rendition of the Sundanese classic 'Talak Tilu. ' Of note is the inclusion of Ricky Firgana (White Shoes & The Couples Companys) as producer. By incorporating the percussive drum play of Eka Djaja Combo led by Rudy Rusadi, Indonesian-style cumbian taste, and the disco-pop touch reminiscent of the 80s that White Shoes & The Couples Company is known for, The Panturas has succeeded in taking a bold step in the band's musical evolution while maintaining their attitude of exploring the roots of West Javanese culture, singing lyrics in Sundanese, and paying homage to tradition. Following ALI, they are the next hot band from Indonesia that will take Japan by storm! You'll want to hear them live and dance to their hearts' content! This is a great album that will appeal to a wide range of people, from garage rock, surf rock, and disco to traditional Asian music, Indonesian bands, Southern Beach Terror, Eka Sapta, Quartet Bintang, Eka Jaja Combo, and even exotic psychedelic fans like Khruangbin and YinYin!LISTEN: https://youtu.
