Excellent Condition Platinum #3776 Century Briar Fountain Pen, Medium Nib

This is a rare, discontinued fountain pen with a wooden barrel.

The barrel is made of briar, a burl from the Erica arborea shrub, native to the Mediterranean region. Briar is typically used for making pipes, and this pen utilizes the burl, which is the gnarled, bulbous growth on the plant's root, aged 25-100 years.

The briar barrel is durable and hard. The comfortable feel and the luster that develops with use are also appealing features.

The nib size is medium.
We have confirmed that it writes without any problems.
The exterior has only minor scratches and is generally in good condition without any significant damage.

This listing is for the pen body only; ink, converter, instructions, and box are not included.

If you would like, we can include one ink cartridge for 100 yen or a converter for 500 yen. Please contact us if you are interested.
